Cosmo’s Own is a unique, eco-friendly line of feline products based in New York City, whose mission is to ban the unethical act of declawing.
The line was founded in 2019 by true cat lover and industry veteran Kate Broug, after she started a petition against declawing. The petition received the attention of cat lovers all over the world, which resulted in over 150k signatures. Cosmo’s Own offers a high-quality collection of durable and affordable cat scratchers that are 100% eco-friendly and all-natural.
Utilizing a unique honeycomb mesh material for all of its products, Cosmo’s Own ensures cats’ claws will be strengthened without hurting them.

At Cosmo's Own, we created our own, unique scratcher: the Moon Scratcher ™. Sturdy, eco-friendly, and with a playful design, our Moon Scratcher has won the hearts of many of our furry friends!
Hello everyone!
Meet Cosmo: a Seal Point Siamese living in his cosy apartment NYC. Right after his new mother adopted him, his siblings were sold off to non-paw-friendly homes. They all got declawed.
In April 2019, we started a petition against declawing and received 150.000 signatures. A couple of months later, declawing got banned in the state of NY!
To help finance the fight against declawing in the rest of the US, we then created a line of cat scratchers: Cosmo's Own. Part of the profits of this line will help finance the battle against declawing.
Please help us in this fight, by buying one of his scratchers or by signing our petition!
At Cosmo's Own, we only use 100% eco-friendly, natural materials. This cat cave is made from a soft and flexible type of felt which naturally repels odor, dirt, and stains. It's completely free from harsh chemicals and synthetics.
For all our scratchers, we use a unique honeycomb mesh material that strengthens your cat's claws without hurting them.

As much as Anna in Bhutan focuses on the health of our planet, Cosmo’s Own focuses on the health of our pets. Kate named Cosmo’s Own after her own cat, Cosmo.
